Default New V owner, ex-mustang guy

My name is Robbie and this is my 2006 CTS-V. Picked it up from my girlfriends father. Pretty much stock aside from the CCWs and the Procharger. I plan on adding more necessary mods soon. I'm learning a lot about these cars thanks to this forum mainly.

It's still in the process of being set up properly. I drove it from Cali to Texas and I lost a seal in the blower on the way. So now it's groaning and needs a rebuild. The car has 56k and the blower was grafted in when it was new, so it lived a long life I suppose. Right now it's parked for a head unit rebuild and some fuel system mods. The 42's are maxed out, so I'm looking for some 60lb injectors before I start leaning on it.

It's a P1-SC head unit with the Procharger GTO bracket and automatic self-destructing tensioner. All the piping was fabricated and a different, larger FMIC was used. I'll post some pics tonight.

I don't see that LS7 clutch holding up to the blown power for very long.

P1-SC is the smaller version right? Cause then it's the D1 and F1 chargers when u go bigger?

If its the smaller blower like I'm thinking it is, even after injectors I'd guess around 480-500rwhp out of it with supporting mods (full exhaust, fuel, etc). With that setup, the LS7 clutch should be ok for awhile but you'll want something better sooner or later.

Nice car btw and post more pics when u can! The wheels are sexy!

The Procharger and CCW's seem pretty necessary to me. Nice pickup and welcome!

Not on Hood. I drove out to the Home Depot meet in killeen a couple of weeks ago. lots of very fast cars around here these days.

Moar pics!

Its being torn down in a few minutes. I'm going to try and document the blower rebuild and make a how-to possibly.

Nice! Any info you can provide about the fitment of this kit would be much appreciated by many of us here.
The more pics the better!

Gotta say, its pretty ******* awesome that someone pops up with a Procharged V (something everyone has been trying to build on here) out of nowhere.

Congrats! Be warned, especially coming from the Mustang world, we have something called the "Caddy Tax"...you will soon start to feel a nagging pain in your right rear pocket (in the area of you wallet). This is normal, and will persist for the duration of your ownership.

Out of curiosity, do you have any idea who installed the Procharger and when it was done?

Welcome!

Post of the year!

Great looking car, Robbie. Thanks for making me feel inadequate. Lots of V2s around here do that enough as it is. Well...and some V1s.

Youd be very suprised what beating stock style clutches can take. I had 20k+ miles on my old stock clutch and it NEVER had a problem.
