Default Just the tips

Had my Magnaflow tips installed this morning. I have to say they look pretty good. Definitely happy with them.

I used these: Magnaflow 35121 Stainless Steel Round-Angle Cut Double Wall Exhaust Tip

The only issue was that he had to puff the inlets to match up to the stock muffler outlet. The risk in doing that is that they could crack. I know some other folks have used these without any issues.

Oh...and the license plate is a photoshop. It's taken, but it would be one of my choices if it came available.

Lol I tried that one a few times. Looks good. I got mine from a local shop but after the header install they stick out a little past the bumper. Only 3/4" or so but yours look better.

If that's the case, mine will be flush. Right now they're just inside of the bumper line.

Those look really good. The stock muffler tips are about an inch too small.

I asked for ¾" of the tips to be sticking out when they put mine on.

I like em to sit flush or stick out just a tad. The way the magnaflow catback comes has them sticking out too far IMO.

The thing that kept crossing my mind was those cars that have black running up the bumper from exhaust. I wanted it out & away from my bumper, but not gaudy sticking out.

I think as long as you're not running super rich (nitrous tune) all the time and if you wash it regularly you won't need to worry about black marks on your bumper.

Your gonna end up messing up the paint due to heat with them sitting so flush.

This is exactly what mine look like.

OP, I may have worded my first statement incorrectly. After the LT install mine sat a good 6-8" past the bumper. I had the exhaust shortened to put them closer. I wanted flush but the muffler shop guy said it would hurt the paint cause of heat like the others here said. I hated it at first but its growing on me.

It's kinda weird that anyone would suggest that they'd ruin the paint. If that was the case, I'd imagine the stockers would be guilty of the same.
