Your just plowing through this build of yours...

I should have some updates to my progress. Front braces are done, and i finally got my hands on Oval Tubing...Add a little strategic reinforcement is key...

Hopefully i will also install side skirts...

Nice slotted discs...

Is that a new inner fender liner I see? I'm in need of a new one. How much was it and what's the part number?

I went back through the thread and saw a pic of the shocks with "narrowed" under it.

315s on this car would be awesome. If you could, how about a few more details about how you plan on doing it.

Any cradle mods?

Thanks

315s would LOOK awesome, but as far as the driving experience it would get a little boring. Throttle steer is where it's at. 275's are the widest I'd go.

I bought mine with 295s on the STS-V wheels, but those wouldn't fly with the MM spaces out back.

I feel the same. When i do new wheels and tires i'm going with 18x8.5 front and 18x 9.5 rear forgstar f14 with 245/45 front and 275/40 rear pilot super sports. That way i get just enough traction while getting the most rotational losses. And having the same factory sidewall is great for comfort as well.

Liking the build 54!! Its coming along nicely!! I'm getting closer to the end as well. But you'll probably get there before me

Yes, just ask away. I narrowed the control arms that hold the springs. Since the shock leans inward, I am going with 20" wheels so I can go with a WIDER wheel.

The trailing arms will be custom as well.

I originally had coilovers out back, but they(coils) are moved back to the stock location.

If need be, I am going to lean the shocks in a few more degrees as I REALLY want to run 325s......er......345s.....

Throttle steer is not needed during a 1/4 mile.

I will be running 18x9 up front with stockISH sized tires.; 20x11" and 315.30.20s.....if things work out, then I will be running wider wheels and tires.

On the track; 18x9s with 27g Drag Radials.

When this is done along with my 8.8; the cars foundation will be ready fr more power and I promise it will not be boring.....

Oh, OK, I see what you are saying.......I put my comments on top of people, the proper way.....lol

Look at the next photo and you can see the narrowed control arms that allow to run wider wheels....
