should be targeting Lambda 1.00 for idle and cruise, meaning complete burn.
(I never use Air fuel ratios because fuel isn't usually ideal, e.g. gasoline is 14.681:1 all oxygen and fuel used up in a given volume, however, is it pure gasonline at the pump you just filled up at? what happens when they add up to 10% ethanol? (here is a hint: its not the same any more).
Lambda doesnt care on the TYPE of fuel.

Now we could talk about lean cruise, but Im sure that would just confuse everyone...

Default Tuned today

For those not watching my other thread...after my tune today I am at 456hp/464tq.

Thats with a Stock Maggie, Comp GT2-3 cam, CAI and full exhaust consisting of Kooks SS headers, high flow cats and Corsa cat back. The Maggie is at a little less then 6 psi boost.

FYI...the initial pull pre-tune was the best of the day(479/472). To bad it was considered an unsafe setup(note - the car had ran for several years that way) with lean A/F and excess timing.

AFR is what is, you need it to be safe. Do you know what they set the timing to? Mine is set at 22*, when we he set it to 23*, it made no improvement.

The initial tune that was very lean also had up to 24 degrees of timing. I believe he said they have it at 21 now. I suspect they tried several different timing setting during the tune and likely as you said...it didnt help.

Timing=ignition advance in degrees.

98cobra, I'm usually in the low 20's for timing on my car with pump. Even now I'm around 18* with as hard as I'm pushing it and no knock yet
