Default Odd thump from some type of movement near driver side rear wheel

I get this kind of thump/bump if I pull out hard and then left off the gas or if I'm rolling in 1st, stab the gas and then let off again. It's occurring around the driver side rear. It literally feels like something is lifting up when accelerating and falling down when I let off. I've had the car on a lift and didn't see anything odd.

Yeah check the diff. I actually snapped the driver side bolt that holds the rear of the diff in the other day and it sounds just like you are describing.

If that's not it I'd double check your motor mounts.

That definitely sounds like the front rear differential bushing needs to be replaced--preferably with an aftermarket poly piece.

Is there a brand of diff bushing that is preferred here?

Creative steel or UUC are the only brands that I recall available. I have a creative steel and have no complaints.

I can sell you my 3 month old bushing from Creative Steel... If you don't mind pressing it out of the broken piece of the diff lol... It would be easy to ship

UUC stopped making 'em. I think CS is the only aftermarket option right now.
