Default UMI Motor Mounts best price?

Going to order umi motor mounts in a week or so. Which vendor has the best price? Ive browsed through a bunch of vendor threads and no one even has them listed on their site. Sent a few pm's out. Where are you guys getting your mounts? UMI has em listed for 249+ shipping.

$250 is the best price. Occasionally, they'll have them for $200 on sale but Ryan @ UMI says that they've been so inundated with orders that a sale hasn't been necessary.

I second that the vibrations are a pain in the ***. On the bright side though, the motor is well planted and doesn't move at all...

Oh... And they will never need to be changed again. Biggest perk. Even the aftermarket poly mounts have issues with melting, bolt ripping through the center or just getting worn with age.

Okay, so many people complain about the vibrations from the UMI motor mounts. What would you recommend then? I'm looking at the Revshift ones, but I haven't seen any real feedback on them.

Any solid mount will cause vibrations bro. Even the poly's are worse than the perfectly quiet and vibration free stock jelly mounts. lol

IMO, go with the UMI's. Its worth the vibration to have the motor planted 100% and to know you'll never have to change them again.

Oh I'm fine with some vibrations, I know it comes with the territory. I just don't want it to be too crazy, because I do transport my twin girls and the mom in this car sometimes. This car will NOT stay stock!

It's not intolerable. Just more noticeable when u pay attention to it. I'm sure a lot of my other mods contribute to the added noise and vibration just as much... Lol

Good grief.

Some guys make it sound like you turn the car into a shaker table.

The vibrations pretty much "go away" after you get off idle anyway.

If you don't want vibration (at idle), don't stick a cam in the car, or drop the idle speed either.

I went from stock to UUC (twice!) to UMI.

The UMI's are fine. IMO

That's true. It's only noticeable at idle and I already had my cam when i put my UMI'd in so I can't speak for stock cammed cars. My idle speed is around 800 RPM.

They are 10% off ($224.99 a set) and only $9.99 shipping until Tuesday 9-04.

I hope that helps!
