which fuel pump (aeromotive 340??)
i talked a bit with fuzzylog1c, and he really got my mind stirring.
I'm thinking about the aeromotive 340 lph and the hotwire kit.
For people who have the aeromotive, how much harder was it to install in the tank as opposed to the stock replacement? i've heard it's larger.
I got my car dyno tuned, and it made 500 rwhp. 1 week later, it made 480 and was pinging at high RPM, and it started doing it more at 3000+ rpm. Pulled 20 percent of timing to keep the engine alive and safely.

I bought a used fuel pump with bucket off ebay for $100 shipped. I am not going to use it, I can send it to you and you can mod it, then send me your other one back. THat way you have no down time.

I remember someone on here using the 340 and it burned up in a short amount of time. Areomotive would not warranty it b/c they said the jet pump that feeds the pump was insufficient. There was a pretty long thread about it on here a few years ago.
I would go with a DW pump if you need anything over the Walboro 255. They have been used in just about everything (including V1's) without issue.

For anyone new to this subject, I'd start by reading the following review of 4 fuel pumps, which include the pumps mentioned in this thread.

How are u maxed for fuel at 500? I'm on a stock pump and I'm doing fine for fuel making 550 on the nitrous. A/F is still where I need it to be but I'm at my max. Anything over 550 and I'll need a pump.

What is a part number or location to look at the Denso pump. I just picked up an LS7 block and plan on a forged build with N20 or maybe a TVS 2300.

I have heard both ways now. I guess for ability to drop in and the fact that I am considering staying N/A just for longevity on the LS7 I may use it with a racetronix harness. Is the walbro what racetronix sells, or what?
