Sold the V!!! Just watched it drive off...
Well guys... I sold the V. That's right Cole... The second V I've sold and you still have your **** pile collecting dust and rotting away. Lol
Anyway, I didn't think it would go so fast but she's gone. Guy came and looked at it last night and showed up with payment tonight. Sounded so good driving away. I never really got to see what she looked like outside the car because I was always in it but for a second there, I regretted selling it. I'm sure I'll feel completely fine once I get my replacement.
I'll still be around here so no worries. Trying to decide what to replace it with.
Budget is $40k. I could spend more but don't feel the need to. Plenty of nice cars can be had for that or less.
So... My main options are...
-huge lifted diesel
-C6 Z06
-V2
-03/04 Whipple or KB Cobra
What else is there that would be fun for the money? I'll more than likely buy a streetbike and a daily driver so whatever I get won't be my daily.
Lmk fellas!

I loved my Duramax, just sayin'. I was a fool for letting it go. It was mostly stock (canned tune, intake, exhaust) and would give a lot of "sports" cars a run for their money... in addition to being comfortable, useful/versatile and remarkably quiet for what it was.

Holy **** you are spontaneous lol... Tough decision to make on the next vehicle since they're all good... Except I think diesels are overrated... And expensive to repair compared to gas motors... I'd say Z06 and build the motor

Diesel with compound turbos and a built trans, low to mid 12's in the quarter. Having 1500 ft/lbs and being able put down 1.6/1.7 60' times at 8-9000 lbs is always fun. Oh and the duramax'es are hard to kill, I've tried and keep failing.

Here's a Duramax (lifted, even) running faster than most streetable cars can at half the weight:
Or 18 pages worth of lowered Duramax's here: http://www.duramaxforum.com/forum/su...-d-max-18.html

Damn guys... So many responses. Lol first... No worries! I'll still be posting! Now that everyone is relieved... We can talk cars. Lol
Only reason I like the diesel idea is cause it's a turn key vehicle I can take anywhere without a worry in the world. But... I really like shifting gears in a fast car so... For that reason... I'm leaning to the V2 or C6 Z06. Honestly a little more toward the vette cause if I don't get one now, I won't for awhile cause I'm 27 as of the 29th and if I wait, I'll prob end up with a kid somewhere along the line and I'll need a back seat. Lol
And only reason I'm leaning away from the cobra is cause I've had one already but I do love em.
Allen, if I could afford a cobra and the diesel I want... I'd do it but on $40k, I'd have an average diesel and an eaton cobra. Lol if rather have a daily beater to drive to the plant, a streetbike and a sick whip for the nice days. Lol

Congrats on the sale! As far as your next vehicle, I've had all 4 on your list. Notice what I have now. The V2 has given me the most joy out of all 4 on your list. And I'm not saying this because this is in the V section.
