Back into an LS-Based Vehicle - 05 CTSV
Hello all - I recently picked up a car I have wanted for several years now, a 2005 Cadillac CTS-V. While I am new to the CTS-V community this is the 3rd LS-powered car I have owned - the best being this cool piece of machinery - a 2002 Pontiac Trans-Am WS6 - full bolt on car with a cam.
The Caddy I picked up is very clean and has a few mods that I have noted so far: muffler delete, K&N Filter, aftermarket shifter. I am not sure what brand the shifter is but will figure that out. I am looking forward to learning more about this car. Here are a few crappy pics:
I picked this car up in Fremont, OH - if anyone knows who may have owned it before let me know. I am assuming he would have been active on at least a forum or two.

Congrats!
Love the Trans Am! I had the same colors in a 1996 TA, but wanted to get away from 2 doors when I was forced to find a replacement for it. I also went with a 04 Black Raven with Ebony interior.

The rear in the V is weaker then anything you've probably encountered, including the 10 bolts, etc. Be careful with clutch dumps. Slipping shouldn't be an issue. Congrats on the new V.

On another note, where can I get a new rubber spoiler that goes under the front end? This one is pretty tore up.
