LS2 intake on a LS6 would it work?

Either have TPIS epoxy a 90mm snout to your LS6 intake, or save up and get a FAST.

Thanks fellas.. You gave me the info I need.. I dont trust cutting and using epoxy to make the intake work like TPIS does. Something about that whole process just doesnt make me feel right and I probably wouldnt be able to sleep at night knowing epoxy is holng my TB to my intake manifold lol.. Looks like I am going with a FAST 92mm.. At least i can then use the 90mm TB with no issues.

why is everyone hating on the graft? I dont plan on having tpis do it and instead lingenfelter but it can be done for 350. so for 350$ I have an ls6 intake with a 90mm TB? Seems alot cheaper then going the 1k+ route with a fast. With port matching an ls6 the gains from a fast are not as impressive. While there will still be more hp with a fast im trying to be budget friendly here and save 600+$ to go somewhere else in a build.
Also, I like that the ls6 with a 90mm graft looks stock where a fast you would have to paint and sand down the fast logo. IMHO

I do remember seeing on on corvette forum and if I remember right a stock motor there was not much difference and the ls2 may have caused a loss...? but with a modded motor the ls2 was very restrictive in comparison. But no I do not have the comparison. I will look to find it again though!

For anyone that might be making longer term mod plans, I have an expertly ported LS2 intake manifold that I will be selling after I install a TVS2300 next year. It's been completely reworked and flows significantly better than stock.

Even though I'm considered a full bolt on car with Heads/Cam/Exhaust, yadda yadda, I wouldn't drop the $1k on a Fast because the numbers it increases just aren't worth the money. For $1000, I feel I could find at least 5 different ways to gain the same amount of power for a quarter of the cost.

If you want a LS2 intake without throttle . . . I have one.
I might require you buy me a coffee or a box of K-cups - Kona or Caribou
I think that manifold and some of the parts are kickin'around here in a big box.
Since, you are in Norhern NJ - you are in driving distance.
I'm west of Newton
