Default What do you guys think...CS or Revshift rear diff bushing?

I went on the Revshift website today and noticed they just added a rear diff bushing. I was planning on buying one from CS for my differential, but then saw this. What do you think?...Stick with CS or go for the Revshift one.

Second on the CS bushing, looking at the revshift bushing it looks like the bushing lips may be the weak point of the unit. I will say I haven't tried it and by no means no for sure.

looks just like the UUC did. I personally had problems with CS bushing and ending up using the UUC. This blue, may be softer than UUC. worth a shot.

I would not worry about the lip. The inner bushing deteriorated on the CS on me.

How would you get the RevShift bushing on without a tool? Pull the diff and press it in?

Yeah, until there's more information, this is an unknown. The CS bushing has worked well for most people.

It has to be easier to install since it doesn't have the metal sleeve.

Looks to me, from the picture that it's split in the middle. Lube both sides up, squeeze them in to get them stated, hit them with a mallet to make them flush then hit the metal sleeve in with a mallet until it's flush. Looks like it would be pretty easy to install.

Yeah it's just like the UUC bushing and the UUC (for once) has been flawless.

i would not worry about testing it out. i have not read anything bad about their products.

simple install. no tool required to install bushing. you will need to press out the old bushing though.

How has everyone dealt with the increased diff whine when using the bushings, other than turn up the radio?

A heavier gear oil might do the trick. I'm using Redline 75W-140 in order to help prevent that issue in the first place. It's more appropriate for an aggressive street/autocross application than 75W-90.

Well has anyone gone with UUC bushing before and changed it out for a CS one...or the other way around? Just trying to see if anyone here can compare the 2 bushings as to which one was better in any way.....besides the install.

Do you have a pic? I'd check it out up there but I'm in Afghanistan right now.
