I've seen conflicting information on the proper bleeder to use with a LS7 slave. Since I won't be using a spacer and the stock CTS-V slave, I'd presume I just need a C6 bleeder, right?

My installer just finished installing LS7 fly slave and clutch into my 04V nd the clutch will not disengage. He swears all the air is bled out. What should we do?

How does the pedal feel? I say bleed again. Also, make sure the slave is completely connected to the master.

Thanks, I ordered the Tick bleeder for the C6. Oddly enough it does list the 04-07 CTS-V as an application for the same part.

Just ordered my ARP flywheel and pressure plate bolts too... ahhh so excited.

Dark - hate to bring bad news but that is the wrong bleeder. The correct one when using LS7 clutch/slave would be the 5th Gen Camaro bleeder.

See the below thread, I believe page 3 has most of the bleeder info.

Are we certain this is the case, even without use of the spacer on a stock slave, and utilizing a LS7 slave instead?

Damn it.

Yup, I did the same thing. Bought a $50 bleeder and then the correct $30 fitting so return yours and just get the correct one.

I got in touch with Alex at Tick, and he was very helpful -- said he'd heard that the 2010+ Camaro was the right bleeder, and would change out my order without any further stuff being done on my part. That's good customer service!

Guys, this is not a case of only ONE bleeder being right.

I have the Tick on mine and MANY others do as well and it WORKS.

Let's stop spreading the BS unless you know what you are talking about. I even said this exact same thing and showed a picture in the link that you provided. Come AWN man.

The good news it it looks like we now have options.

I'm just repeating what Martin at Tick Performance confirmed and asked me to post so people stop having to change orders etc. I'm sure you can make other bleeders work but for an easy direct fit the 5th gen Camaro bleeder is the correct one to order when going LS7 clutch/slave.

There is no disagreement with that statement, IF in fact it works. That great!

But, we have MANY people that have used the other bleeder from Tick(like mentioned it lists the V on their website as an application) and saying that it does not work is not a good idea unless YOU have seen it not work in YOUR vehicle.

I have seen it work in my CTSV. I installed it myself.

That is what is the problem with forums, people here **** and then get diarrhea of the mouth when they don't know WTF they are talking about.

No worries at all brother, just trying to step in with ACTUAL experience.

I sincerely hope that the 5th gen bleeder is indeed a better solution.

DarkCharisma, you are all set, not need to be confused.
