Default Stock exhaust vs aftermarket

My ls6 I have long tubes gutted cats x pipe to basically slp2 mufflers sounds good but my lower torque an power rang is up around 3G. Drove a stock v today an it felt like it had more torque an better take off speed an under 3G. What am i missing why does the stock car feel faster is it cause its quite or it have more back pressure? I noticed in my car I went from straight pipe to bullet mufflers it felt more powerful!!

You need a tune. Car is breathing so much better the AF ratio is out of whack. You are probably running too lean. A tune will get more fuel into the cylinders and get you going.

We want to help, buddy, but you're going to have to write more clearly. Take some time and write it out.

Less back pressure generally gives less low end power, and more high end power. not sure if you deal with bikes, but it's even more exaggerated on them. You can buy exhausts with removable baffles so you can add or take them away to adjust the torque range.

Get it tuned. You are probably running lean.

My 04 V is bone stock and as soon as I bolted on the Long tubes, racing cats, and mufflers I felt the difference. And I haven't even tuned it yet. Try turning off the traction control maybe I dunno. What intake are you running?

by the way I have a bone stock car besides the 1&3/4 inch headers, racing cats, x-pipe, and mufflers from stainless works.

Run 93. If you live out west you're SOL on that one. My bike hated me when I put 91 in it while I lived out west.

All those mods, so I'm guessing you're cammed? If so, maybe your cam isn't playing well with the new exhaust breathing? Maybe you need less exhaust duration or something? What are your cam specs?

Geezus...use punctuation man.

I know you know how to use it - I saw a period when you typed out your A/F ratio.
