Wasn't too bad, we took it out over 2 days, at a pretty relaxed pace. We could have had it out the first day, but would have made for a long day, so better to finnish it off the next day.
Supercharger going on it, yes. Just doing forged internals and a lower compression set up. No increase in cubes. I was only humoring the idea about a week or two ago, I guess I got no choice now.

Thanks, your unfortunate turn of events actually got me thinking,I better do this the right way now instead of later.
Not 100% sure yet, but I know it won't be the ls9 cam

I ended up ordering a short block from TSP, cheaper than having a machine shop locally do the Tq plate / align hone / etc.
decided to do a 10:1 SCR setup.
have manley 6.125 ARP 2000 rods (still in box)/ Cometic 0.041 / and ARP main studs for sale now. all sealed. I suppose you bought everything already.
Have you decided on the CAM yet?

Getting pistons, rods, Arp 2000 rod bolts, arp main studs, coated clevite main, crank, rod bearings, and balanced for under 2k.
Then Align hone and bore hone for maybe 400.00.
I'm only going .005 over, I could still see the factory cross hatch in the bores.
I haven't decided on the cam yet, probably talk to the guys at TSP, seeing as I still have other parts to order.
Melling oil pump
C5r timing chain and gears
bottom end gaskets
and other odds and ends
I probably would have bought those from you, but I have to see what my machine shop guy can do for me. I figure he's hooking my up pretty good on the parts.

Well that's the difference between Calgary and Winnipeg I guess.
Machine work was ~2300. 300 extra for pinning main caps(2600)
THen buy the rods, pistons, rings, arp bolts, bearings... cost comes to ~4300 (4600 pinning)
Balanced/blueprinted / align honed / tq bored etc. polish stock crank. frost plugs, file fit rings, bearings install etc...
And add the +4 month waiting list!
OR TPS comes to 4289 US. + 320US ship + GST = ~4880 can. and they do it in a month.
so for extra 550 bucks (or less), I now have an extra LS1/6 block with guts. I can easily break even, plan to get some money back actually.
