Anyone have any idea who this is or if he's on here? I couldn't see the turbo that well and want more pics/videos of this beast!

That car is clean. Would like to see some driving vids. Turbo looks really low to the ground, id be scared of speed bumps.

That car sounds great and I like the color but that turbo install, wow. Not only is there a big potential for dragging damage while driving, the routing of the hoses, lack of proper securing, and use of materials is sub-par. I don't mean to call anyone out but it needs to be pointed out that is not how to do it. Heck, there's even a rubber hose running through a hole in the frame? That will be cut in less than 6 months. Has this installer ever heard of AN fittings, braided hose, and bulk heads?? For the $$ I'm sure was spent, those type of things needs to be standard practice.

But I do like the car overall...

I was planning on doing nearly the same thing, only using Comp Oil-less turbos. Only problem was that nobody would even talk to me about their damn product, so I got an E Force instead.

I'm sure some things could have been done better, but installing turbo's on our cars are hard enough as it is.

hey DMM did you ever try to see if a turbo would fit behind the foglight area in the bumpers? Kind of like the hellion guys do it for mustangs?

Agreed that packaging is a PITA on these cars BUT if you going to take the time and effort and $$ to do a turbo install, don't skimp on the little stuff like hoses that are the lifeblood of the turbo as well as half-assing their routing. Doing AN lines is not that hard and as speculated if a shop built this, shame on them.

Guy is local to me. It's a beast. And a shop didn't build this, it's all custom by the owner. He does, however, work at a machine shop.

Ah, then I'll assume it's just a work-in-progress then and he's already planning on tidying all that stuff up. Big props to him for putting it all together and it does sound like a beast.

Regarding my roadster, the only video I have is from about a year ago. The car is completed now and runs/drives great.
Here's a link to the build pics and a video

This.

I emailed him pictures of my setup and I think he basically copied it and added in some of his own tweaks. Although last I heard he popped off number 7 ring land. He doesn't post up much, but I hope he gets it back on the road soon. As for the turbo placement, yeah they hang low, but if you keep the car at stock height it will take a mountain of a speed bump to rub. I've rubbed the charge pipe at the frond of the car, but never rubbed a turbo.

Back in college I had a 280zx with a turbo and megasquirt, I blew several head gaskets and a few motors before I finally "got it right". I would have the machine shop he works at currently rebuild all my junk. Small world.

Bigger turbo then necessary and a cam opposite of what you want for a turbo car..............sounds good though.

Lol thanks for the compliments to those that gave them, yes its still a work in progress and a lot has been cleaned up and changed since this vid. And as gulf M3 stated I experienced an over boost situation on a 15 degree night after changing a wastegate line and the #7 piston wasn't very excited about it haha. But I just finished up a forged ls2 shortblock for it along with some portwork to the heads, hope to have the car back together this weekend. Looking for a mild and reliable 700rwhp. As for the cam I wouldn't say it's opposite to an ideal turbo grind but it does feature more overlap than most people would like, but I wanted it to sound rowdy and the power curve climbs continuously past 7k so I don't think it's leaving much on the table. Once again thanks for the kind words and I'll post up more when I have a "finished product".

Good to hear! 700 to the tires shouldn't be a problem, long as you can fuel it. Keep us posted.
