so many of you guys are well aware of what i use my car for (street/drag racing)

i would like to see if any one has any input on how small of a wheel i could get on the rear of my v1. i know ill have to use the cts 5 lug hubs and smaller rear brakes. but even if i down grade the rear brakes/hubs how small of a wheel could i get over all the rear control arms/hubs?
i whould love to get a 15" wheel under her but i dont know if it will fit.

even a 17" would be an improvement for drag racing purposes. that would easily fit over the cts stuff no problem.

i think the cts comes with a 16" wheel. which is still alot better then the 18s we have.

I dont think you'll find much of a good drag tire in 16" anymore (at least for a reasonable price); that's a dying size. I'm sure you could grind down the calipers a little (on the nonstructural areas) and run small spacers to get 15's to fit.

try posting up over on CF in the regular cts section. I'm sure someone will be able to give you the measurements you need (us V guys can only speculate unless someone has/had a regular cts). Post up whatever you find.

what would you do for the front? swap that to regular cts stuff too?

no ill keep the big fronts to slow this pig down. id have to swap to the front 5 lug also and run vett discs with v calipers and new 18" wheels

16's fit fine, 15's will also fit but require modifications to the lower control arm and the trailing arm.

I'm going with 15's but I'm doing a whole rearend swap. Not really the same thing.

Did u just buy all the regular cts rear parts? Is it just a straight bolt in swap or is tgere some funky stuff I should be ready for? What front brake disks did u use?

ok guys here's how to do it, i will try to make it as clear as possible.

First you must do a 5 lug swap all around, for that you will need corvette c5 or c6 front and rear hubs.You have to redrill your stock brembo rotors to corvette 5x4.75 bolt pattern. Everything will bolt right up. The corvette hubs have the same center bore as the ctsv hubs.The hubs will bolt directly onto the spindles and the c5/c6 hubs have the same spline count for the rear axles.

Note: When you get the stock brembo rotors redrilled there will be some overlap on some of the lug holes, however it is not a problem, i have been running them like that for a few years with over 800hp with out any issues.

Now to be able to run the 16 inch wheels in the rear, you have to use 03-07 cts rear calipers and rotors. The calipers will bolt right on and will have the proper spacing with the c5/c6 hubs and cts rotors. However the cts rotors have to be redrilled to the corvette 5x4.75 bolt pattern. The cts rotors also have the same center bore as the corvette hubs and the cts v hubs.

Note: since the cts rotors are 5 lug, when you get them redrilled there will not be any overlap of the lug holes.

I appreciate any and all info I can get on the swap. Do you know if you can use the regular cts hubs? Just want to know if I can look for both or if only the c5/c6 stuff will work

Question, after the 5 lug conversion, is there anything else needed to fit those camaro wheels on? Spacers or anything? Where did you get your rotors drilled?

You can also get C6 Z06 rotors as well rather than re-drilling the OE Brembo rotors. They are a direct fit with the C5/C6 hub bearings.

As far a the cts hubs, im sure they will work also. I just went with the c5 /c6 hubs because it is a much more common bolt pattern

For the 2010 camaro wheels no spacers are required however they do require machining to make them fit. I had the rotors/ wheels machined by a friend who owns a machine shop.
