Default EQ Settings?

I feel like a moron. I can't seem to figure out how to set the equalizer for the radio and make it STAY. I set EQ, im happy. I change the channel and they go back to flat. I change the input, they go back to flat. I turn the car off. Flat. Why? How do I make the EQ settings stay put?

It bothered me like no other when i first got mine then i figured out that you need to save each station after the EQ settings are where you want. So go to your station, set the EQ and then hold whatever preset you wanna save that channel as and itll be set. You have to do it for each preset though.

yea what he said... damn annoying 'feature'. Oh and if you ever change that EQ's settings the preset will hold the old EQ's settings but it will say 'custom'. It's a never ending circle of annoying.
