I can tell you, they like em really much
Some eyes are falling out of their brackets at wot, some others lying on the floor to look under the car, because they can't believe it...
Maybe a really unknown car or sign of the brand cause this!
Regards,
Ronald

I just got my 2005 V on Saturday. Fixed the boot bezel which had only one clip left. Today I changed the oil and filter, checked all the fluids under the hood and cleaned/re-oiled the K&N air filter.
While I was under the front end I happened to look at the clearance between the top inside edge of the tire and the steering upright with a stock wheel and tire. I'd be surprised if it was more than a 1/16 of an inch. Didn't see any scrub marks on either tire so I guess the tires aren't squirming enough.

It appears to be for all practical purposes. It's silver with a black interior. Been well maintained and looks pretty nice. Has 179,000 miles on but it feels like half that. The first two owners were women and the third owner was a guy who was pretty much a factory parts maintenance freak. It apparently had a long term maintenance agreement and the print out of replacements was long.
Given the miles I'm in pretty cheap and will upgrade as I go. Waiting for the Hurst shifter now and the parts to swap to 5 lug hubs and brakes and a new set of wheels with a more old school look. It'll be a long haul summer driver unless something major goes haywire but I don't see that happening. I've done a quarter million miles in several GM products that weren't near the reputation of the LS series engines It's all about maintenance isn't it.

Wrapped my Steering wheel.
Somebody decided it was a great idea to back into my nice shiny polished car today as well...Of course they didn't stick around or leave a note. Seems to be a rash of people with front bumper cover problems
Side note: How do you guys think it would look with this carbon wrap on the stereo bezel?

My vote would be against wrapping the stereo bezel. It looks great on the wheel and the shift bezel, but the stereo surround would be a little too much.

It was a good thing I didn't have a mouthful of beer when I read that - Ipads aren't liquid proof. There are cars I like with rally's but still can't gap white letter tires...never could. I have the BBS RS replicas in 18x8 and 18x9. They will fit well with about 1/2" more to the outside - at least that's what the calculator says but the real deal is to actually fit them and do some measuring. Lowering will be very minimal but we'll see.
