I replaced my failed revshift motor mounts with creative steel ones.

Installed the creative steel license plate bracket because I got pulled over twice in one week for no front plate doesn't look great, but better than more tickets.

Also had the windshield replaced as a rock hit it and cracked right in front of the driver side view.

I take it those revshift mounts didn't have a heat shield?

No, they did. Heat shield is still on in the first picture and it's sitting right next to the mount in the second picture. 1st pic is driver side, 2nd pic is passenger side.

Ran over a fender liner and bent drivers fender today, not very happy since the paint is only a few months old.

Attended my first cars and coffee event today! Everybody said it was a small crowd due to weather, and it got rained out after 45 minutes but saw some really nice cars that I never see around town so it was good. I'm the goober in the green LS1Tech shirt

Nice little photoshoot before work today to show a forum member the wrapped roof. Did the carbon fiber overlays too ( I know not much) but I like how they turned out thanks to JD_Z28

Going to lower the car soon, needed to get power mods and rear diff done first

I tore down the stock shortblock and got in some new parts to build a 402 stroker for it. Also got new LS3 heads and valves.

Stock is 38.8", but I have an underdrive ATI crank pulley, so 37.2" is what I had written down from when the ATI (and shorter belts) was installed by Lindsay Cadillac years ago.
Two months later, went back to re-attack this job - drained the cooling system and pulled the radiator so I could replace the bad A/C belt tensioner.

The 37.2" belt was a bitch to get on there. After the first battle with it 2 months ago, I had ordered a 38.2" belt to try, but that was too long - the tensioner wouldn't even put any tension on it. Hindsight being 20/20, I should've ordered a 37.7" along with the 38.2" to give me a couple options.

Sunday I swapped out the 10k/10k springs for 12k/12k springs on my KW coilovers.

I'm certainly not going to win any awards for color coordination!

The swap wasn't without some issues. I had meant to swap out my front sway bar bushings and end links with new bits, but of course left those sitting in my garage (I did the work at the auto hobby shop on the local military base). While disconnecting the end links I discovered that the front right one is shot, which made me that much more annoyed that I had left the new ones sitting at home. Then the rear right one didn't want to come off - both nuts were locked up pretty good. Never got the one on the sway bar end, and rounded it off nicely while fighting with it, so I'll probably have to cut that off. Fortunately, I was able to get the control arm end to break loose finally - I was afraid I was going to round off the allen head recess in the stud, but it held together.

The other issue was that some dumbass adjusted the rear perches the wrong way , so I raised the ride height. Oops. This evening I spent some time out in the driveway correcting that. Alignment is scheduled for tomorrow, track event this weekend.

I brought it back home from the body shop. Rear bumper painted again. Hopefully I stop running it into **** long enough to get the brakes and recalls done before hibernation time.

How much are you paying lately for a basic bumper re-do?

$600 but it needed some gouge repair too; they do a perfect job on the color match. I've had other pieces done for less elsewhere but the color ends up a little off every time
