ive had around 130 cars, but currently i have:

my 06 zx10r. had it for 2.5 yrs now and i have been in love with it since the day i bought it. got it for $3600 from the original owner back in 2011 with 8k miles on it. currently has 17k on it and all ive had to do is oil changes and tires on it. i'll never sell it. it is my 70+degree daily. 45mpg and 180mph, hard to beat that lol

my V, bought it 3yrs ago with 65k miles..currently has 99k miles. its my summer daily whenever im not on the bike. only has tint, eibach springs, x-pipe and dual cutouts. gonna do a few small things to it this winter though

04 grand cherokee 4x4 with 165k i bought a few months ago for my winter daily. ive had at least one jeep for every winter the past 9yrs. lifted and stock. normally i go for the XJ's but this one i got a good deal on and couldnt pass it up. it goes offroading when i get bored too lol.

And last but not least, my unicorn. 2000 Trans Am 6spd. bought it back in 2008. longest ive ever had any vehicle for...even though it hasnt been on the road in like 3yrs. Just finally dropped a motor into it last week, just in time to put it up for the winter lol. ill be going turbo with it next year. I will probably have this car until the day i die.

Needed more rear seat and trunk space for the kids. Bored with the LGT to some degree. Modded it pretty heavily over the first 3 years, and then drove it relatively unchanged for the next 4. Was also looking for something with similar power in stock form so I didn't have to worry about maintenance as much.

Described my Saabaru to V transition literally. Except for the kids. None of those yet.

Think turbos and 9" rear ends are expensive, wait till you pick up a couple of those. They will bleed you dry. I literally sold Recaro's out of my track car and bought another in miniature in the same week!

DD the good old twin screw dmax which is about to roll over 100K, thing goes like a tank. Pulls that Disastercraft like there is nothing behind me, I'll damn near keep up with the V in a straight line with 6000 lbs behind me.

You have any a4 parts laying around? i'mgoing to start building up my wifes car soon.

No. I bought my V in 2010 because some b!tch pulled out in front me and totaled my A4. I parted it out down to the shell, every mod and almost all of the stock car.... it was sitting on a wooden box with wheels when it was dragged off to a recycler

There's a box or two of random crap, but not much of any worth $.

DD duties are between the V & a 2000 Lexus GS300 (most reliable car I've ever owned BTW. 161k miles & still feels new, burns no oil, no issues ever) .

Here is my other baby. My Oxford White 91 LX coupe. It's a pretty basic setup HCI stock bottom end (Edelbrock heads, RPM II manifold, & a crappy E Cam LOL), full bolt ons, 3.73 gears, 5 speed, etc. It made 300rwhp/320rwtq & ran a best of 12.31 @110 on slicks & skinnies. Suspension/chassis is basic, Bilstiens, MM front coil overs, eibach rear springs, Cobra front brakes etc.... Pretty much my budget car that is cheap to fix, & fun to drive & beat on.

Sorry for the crappy Iphone pics.

BUT.... Here it is in it's current state... Blew up the 302... catastrophic failure. Cracked block, snapped crack, disintegrated pistons, bent valves, etc etc.... So now its getting a forged high compression 331 stroker....

First is our screen name, lol

02 Z06

06 300C

06 GSXR 1000

Custom GSXR 1000

My 67 Camaro and 02 Escalade behind it

And the V of course

We've been blessed to own some amazing cars. We slowed down a lot lately. Over the past 5 years we haven't bought much but before that it was a new car or two every year.

Wow, you weren't messing around! That's a pretty typical modded 5.0L, not some crazy high stress build, so how did it manage to die in such impressive fashion?

That's a great question that I wish I knew the answer to as well lol. A week before this happened, a buddy helped me pull & reinstall the trans after a rebuild. I drove it maybe 3 times after the trans was installed & got on it in 2nd gear, then all of a sudden at about 4500 rpm it made a very loud vibration noise for about 2 seconds & then it died. I thought maybe the flywheel came off or something. Anyhow, we decided to pull the motor to do some miscellaneous repairs (leaky oil pan & a messed up helicoil where the headers bolt up) & when we pulled the 1st head off, to my surprise, I saw that one of the pistons was completely gone lol... When we dug deeper we saw the rest of the carnage. Not really sure what happened, but yeah this looks more like a motor that had a blower on it lol. I thought maybe we installed the trans wrong & it caused some sort of stress on the motor, but I just don't see how that could happen? Any thoughts?

Could be, but I actually bought the used motor off a buddy & as far as I know, he never had any FI on it. But possibly whomever had the motor before him? I know it ran strong in my car for 5 or so years with PLENTY of hard miles during that time.

I loved my LGT. but the reliability of those engines over 300/350hp and the transmissions really kinda killed it for me.

The V for me was slightly bigger and as fast as my stage 2(stock turbo) LGT was when it was stock.

Weasel were you on Legacygt.com. LegacyGTBiggie on there.
