Hey Brian I already have one of your modified stock shifters but now I need one of these! Hoping you still have the Alcantara boots as well.

Sorry, the alcantara boots were a group buy I coordinated a few months ago. They are all gone.

Can you provide the specs of what the boots were so I can potentially order one on my own? thanks Brian. Sorry if I missed that information in here somewhere.

Redline goods. Black alcantara, silver stitching and 1.5" shorter than stock. It's really expensive to buy a single one. I'll start another group buy which should save you about $30-40.

I need to order the bushings to clean up the slop. Also how do I keep the **** from spinning on me and keep it so its lined up right? The shaft has alot of tread on it.

Installed mine yesterday and love it.

I may want to get in on this one of these days. Has anybody confimed no issues with Hurst fitment and Creative Steel trans mount?

BTW, I was able to use a set of those stock shifter ball bushings to tighen up my friends shifter. I just shaved a hair off the end of one and then put back together (didn't take hardly any). Took all the vertical slop out. I greased it up and it feels awesome now so thanks for hooking me up with those.

there is a set nut on the base of the hurst stalk, move it up so the **** stops spinning when centered. i havent had my spin yet but i am sure some blue locktite or something will help.

and i would be in on a group buy for the boot!

I can't say enough for the service Brian provides... He send me a shifter package to Canada with free shipping which is awesome. The first one he sent out got returned to him because Canada post is morons and said my address could not be found. The address was my work which is a well know auto repair facility here. He sent me another one out before he even received the original one back! I received it yesterday and put it in last night.

I had a homemade short throw in my car from the previous owner. It was a stock shifter with a bushing welded to the bottom. I didn't think it was too bad until I installed this one! It's a world of difference. Seems the gears almost find themselves now. No extra cabin noise or vibrations. In conjunction with the ls7 clutch I can pull off some super fast shifts. The feeling is amazing. This weekend I'll be installing revshift blue motor mounts and creative steel transmission mount. Can't wait to see how it works then.

Thanks Brian!

I'm down on group buy brian. I'm in and out on forum so no matter what count me in haha.

And the **** you adjust to your desired viewing angle. Grab a 9/16 wrench and tighten the nut backwards into the ball. Bam. I've never spun a ****. Easy

Ok. I'll set up the group buy today and give a week or so before getting the total number and finding out the final discounted price.

The Hurst protrudes less under the car than any other aftermarket shifter. There are no issues with it and the CS trans mount.

I'm glad those pivot ball housings worked out.

Do you have the bushings to fix the play in the shifter when in gear? Love this shifter but now hate reverse because its hard to get into now. Just need to do the fix that I saw someone post about.

You mean the bronze ones at the trans end of the center linkage bar? I have them, but they require dropping the trans to install.

Group buy for Alcantara shifter boots. Please let me know whether you want standard height or 1.5" shorter.

So tranny has to be lowered? Or can it be done in car?

trans only needs to be dropped for the furthest bushings to be replaced. you can install the shifter and bushings close to it from in and under the car.
