OEM shocks are made by SACHS. They have the patent for the self-leveling feature.

Looks like they're all available at rockauto.com

edit: But why are you replacing 45k shocks? They're good til around 100k

I have a blown front strut. Car is lowered, it happens. Trying the kyb's. I will post back here after in.

Way to soft for a v. If I still have them i can sell the kyb for 60$ plus shipping. Rear only.

well that sucks...

it looks like the only ones available are FE4 still?

Pretty pricey too.

Wow, that was confusing! I think you've got it straightened out though. If you haven't already, eBay is worth checking. I've replaced my rear shocks (the Nivomat self-leveling ones) a few times. Some of the parts I got from here (the classifieds), and some I got from scrap yards who sell on eBay. None were brand new, but the set I got from eBay were damn close to it; and they seem to be holding up well.

I found a dealer last summer in California that has a set of FG2 was told they had them since 07 he told me $800 shipped for fronts and rears sorry can't remember what the name of the dealer was but I will try and find out the name for you

Aren't there koni's for the V? If so I would look into those, especially the yellow koni sport adjustable.

Koni NA site doesn't have any Cadillac cars listed. I'm a big fan of their yellow adjustables.
