Default Front shocks/struts needed

This is a wild goose chase. Car is a fe4 car. I am looking for front struts. Help? Kyb gas models? Gmpartsdirect ones that are listed for V?

I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to say there, you may be correct but I can't make sense of it.

FE4 is the standard strut/shock package for the V. FG2 was an optional more track oriented setup. Both are self-leveling nivomat technology for the rear shocks. Fronts are pretty standard strut design, not self leveling. Front FE4 are about $100 each and rears are about $200 ea.

why not go with belltech (kw) coilovers instead? ive seen them on ebay for around $1700. not as cheap as oem replacement shocks/struts but handle just as good, if not better while having the option of height adjustment.

For the record, 9/10 people couldnt tell you the difference after driving an fe4 car vs fg2 car. I have driven both and there was no way in hell I could tell you which car had fe4s vs fg2s.

I think I am going by autozone today and see if the local guys know enough to pull this off. If not I will do it myself online.
