Does anyone know what this connect is for? I cannot find its purpose.

I solved my own question. Its the vss

I dug in a little deeper and saw i had a set of wires cut. Then i remembered i cut them... Ages ago for connectors. I will pull out my old ls6 harness and try and salvage the needed connectors...

To do list for tomorro

Move. Dual wbo2 sensors downstream and cancel sensor 2

Install normal o2 sensors upstream and reactivate sensor 1 heater settings

Solder in new vss connector and cap off temp sensor so no issues later on.

I am runnin silly rich where it just smells nasty all around me in the bay.

I also found out why i dont always have obdii readings, i didnt connect ground wire 351 to the ecm.

Clutch works great i can shift into any gear and its silky smooth.

I do however hear a small whine at rpm and i cant find the source. Oil pressure is 57psi at idle so its not a bearing. The steerin is silly smooth and i have it 10 turn to turn and no change in ps oil levels...

I am sortin out the small oil droplets that keep formin on the fittings.

I also have a hd puller for the diff bushings, i cut my tub so i have plenty of space to work from the rear side. The front side will be a challenge to squeeze a spanner in to hold. If this fails its a hollow hydraulic cylinder and pull that sucker out .31" or 1" at a time...

I swapped the o2 sensors, corrected the vss connector, tightened up the fittings, and spliced in the ecm to obdii 351 wire. I still cannot access my ecm from my efi live, yesterday i was able to tune but not see the parameters. Today i am unable to do either. My flash display says there is no vehicle. I will try the flash on my truck and see if it will read its ecm. Either way i am goin to bring a tech 2 to see if i have a serious problem.

Luke shipped off my ECU to LPE who will preform the necessary programming and flash my tune onto it, then send it to me.

I am about three weeks out in the best of cases.

I have a trip with the fam again to Lebanon to see the extended fam and have the children checked out. (Also fix my 23yr old Blazer, she needs the timing and fuel pressure adjusted, but SHHHH, they dont know that just yet...)

When i get back, i will start on my wiring mess and get the car back to road worthiness. The headlights are having the lenses swapped, for the old ones are cracked and the seals weathered. I have to find a new location for my passenger side ballast, for i had to use its location for the new sump tank.

I have to redo the air hoses for the breather tank, i had it similar to OEM, but i have too much pressure in the oil tank where its coming out of the clean side breather and into the intake. Must be the katech Scavanger pump being too efficient. I will add another line from my new catch can to a fitting just before the TB with a check valve and add a check valve to the port behind the TB. this way i keep the vacuum isolated to one place and keep the oil spillage to a min.

I will also have to figure out how to fix my glove box, as it doesnt close anymore.

We started to swap the lenses on my head lights and all i can say is wow.

The oems took a lot of heat and patience to get off took 15mins of 275f heat, the replacements were ozzing the glue out by 7 mins at the same temp.

We placed the replacement lenses on the oem housings, and we will have a problem with fitment, the middle sticks out 5-8mm which will be a problem when sealing it...

Driver side light is perfectly done I will be mounted later this week the passenger side light needed some more modification I used aluminum to help do most the bends on the backside and will waterproof it with a bit of fiberglass and proper resin The biggest problem is the clearance on the passenger side light I barely have any space to give with so that I may retain the simplest of functions offer the adjustment on the headlight

Ecu is somewhere in kuwait, have to send my guys to the post offices to find it...

Bought an old 95 two door Yukon for $1,500. Have a little list of tasks.

Swap junky tbi for 6.6 LS
Swap the 4L60 for 6L80e
Upgrade to e38 standalone
Upgrade interior to 2012 seats
Swap front and rear diffs for new diffs
Upgrade and convert to all around disc brakes
Restore it to showroom glory...

I hope to spend only $6,000 on everything...

Ecu is now installed, only have one code on the dtc. Need to do the crank relearn then no more codes.

I do have an airbag light on, will check the resistors i installed for the seat side airbags

Waitin on the ecu bracket from Luke, then will start it and run a couple gas tanks through her.

Headlights are all done ready for install. The bumper is ready for install.

Just need to modify the oil tank so it also has an oil drain. So i get all the oil out.

Wouldn't you want to put some fresh fuel in the car before you check the tune?

I'm sure the car wash people are going to be fine....It's your paint job that's going to hate you. I can only imagine the swirl marks on a black painted car that's been sand blasted for a few years :/

You are right, i still have a couple more hrs of idle time then will work on puttin 750-1000 km on the car, tweakin the tune down low at the same time. I can at least lessen the trim so instead of the trim being +/- 15-20 its only +/- 5
