Default Catch can on '06 V

Just wanted to hear some response from people about catch cans. I was looking at getting the Elite Engineering can but not sure if its needed and put the $ elsewhere.
All input is appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Is it needed, not really. Is it a good idea, yes. I got one since I upgraded to the fast intake. I didn't want all that oil residue getting in there. I went with the elite can.

You would think by your screen name you would know exactly what a catch can does. It does nothing but keep you from burning oil vapor/residue and (get this) catches it......in a can!! whoa.

This topic has been beat to death on the forum. Wait for it........

Ok, yea you got me on that with the vapor trail thing, (I am a RUSH fan... one of my favorite albums, that's where the name originated). I did do some research but just wanted to see if the video I saw posted on the cans was legit. Wasn't sure if that much oil was being pulled into the intake.
Thanks for all of the help.

Same here, mate. I'm running a Home Depot Special and it initially was filling up, but now, just a few drops, and I haven't changed anything about the car. *shrug*

Thanks Matt, I think I will pass on it for now. Use the $ towards getting the car tuned or my clutch. Drive shaft still holding up awesome!! Been on two road trips to Orlando and a few high sped runs. Excellent work!!
