Default 06 V1 Paxton 1500 637whp

Hey guys,

I thought you might find this build interesting. I bought this car earlier this year:

2006 Silver/tan 86k miles. Previous owner did LS2 TEA ported 243's, 228/232 .612"/.612" 114 Cam, Headers (made 400whp/400tq)

I wanted to supercharge it and decided against the maggie. This kit was pieced together, custom one-off kit from Rocky Mountain Competitive Racing (RMCR) in Colorado Springs

Novi 1500 (80cc injectors, Tial bypass) 5.5psi, front mount
BMR anti-wheel hop kit/ pinion support (still on stock diff)
Centerforce Dyad Twin Disc (katech slave spacer, Billet master w/ Willwood master cylinder)

It made 637whp/554tq on only 5.48 psi

I've ran it for around 1200 miles so far. No issues, stock diff is good (only launched it a couple times). My goal was something decently "reliable" (compared to my other cars in my sig), something I could dd half the time and still light up the tires when needed. No drag, mainly roll racing if any. I wanted something to enjoy the CO mountains and still fit a couple extra passengers.

Build is good to about 9-10 psi, don't want to push it until the diff is upgraded

I'll upload some vids here soon

Nicely executed setup. Where did the components formerly occupying the space get moved to?

I think you should post up info on the kit. With part numbers for the blower and brackets.

Aw man, I wish mine was that quiet. F1 sounds like a 747 taking off from my garage every morning!

Yeah. I want all the details. This is making me re-evaluate my entire life. Is that the new washer fluid reservoir I see? What are the limits? If you're making that much in such low boost this kit looks awesome for my goals!

I assume the LS2 is forged? And with those mods before the blower the numbers are kinda low. Maybe the altitude, or correction factor?

I am one of the Techs that built this car.

The brackets are all custom designed with a 30mm jackshaft. The HP is limited to the crank dampener wrap at about 650 rwhp. Any more and we would need to do a flip drive like on a Corvette.

The engine is a Stock LS2 with TEA CNC Heads, Camshaft and the RMCR Supercharger Kit.

The few things you need to relocate is the fuse box and the washer reservoir.

The fuse box can be moved with only lengthening 5 wires, all of which are power wires.

The rest of the wires have enough length to relocate it into the lower fender well. I dont have any pics of this otherwise I would post them up. You do loose the passenger side brake duct in the process. Small price for the added fun of a supercharger.

We did relocate the washer reservoir to a smaller reservoir and still use the factory pumps so it still performs like factory, you just don't have 2 gallons on hand anymore.

Let me know if there are any other questions.

Thanks
