Default Feal suspension

In doing research for something a little more custom than d2 and less expensive than LG's Feal said they would make v1 coil overs if I got 5 buyers. It would cost approximately $1400 and they would come with swift springs. The owner built a set for his own V in the past so he has some experience with the car.

I'm not in the market, but I've heard nothing but good things about Feal on the forums for one of my other cars (Subaru).

I tried to do this to get Fortune Auto to make some and no one wanted a thing to do with them. Good luck. That being said, I am interested in what the plan is. Need more info before I commit money.

Need 5 folks to get them to build is coil overs. Feal is out of SoCal. They would use parts like D2's I'm assuming and use their specific internals. 1400 would include swift springs. If you wanted some specific damping or something it would be extra. The owner had a V1 and built a set for his car so he is familiar with the car. I need to get in contact with them again but have been busy. What questions does everybody have and I'll ask?

Is it going to be a true coilover?

If the rear is a true coilover, would be epic win.

Wouldn't that intrude on tire space? I just don't see that happening without redesigning more elements than just the shock itself--and for what gain?

Just got an email from Feal. They can do either true coil overs or stock configuration.

Would we have to provide a set of coilovers (D2, or Ksport)? Or the price includes everything?

yes, it does.

i haven't personally found a good reason to do it yet because of this.

This gentleman runs this current setup and he is running a Forgestar F14 wheel on a 275/35/19 tire.

I think if you're trying to get a 305 or something on the car the coil might be an issue. The frame of the car will be too. We can have it either way with feal. Who wants a nice custom suspension?!?!?!?!!!!

there's several things that come to mind for clearance when it comes to aftermarket wheels, but it depends a lot on the wheel specs as to where it's going to hit first. i would say the spring/strut would be the final limiting factor if everything else clears. smaller diameter wheels like to hit the lower control arm, wider wheels in general like to hit the trailing arm, etc.

give a little, take a little, grind away what gets in the way. lol

Or have custom fender flares made and welded in. Then get custom wheels.
