Default Who has the best cat back system for the V? Most HP/TQ

Looking for info on exhaust. Who has the best system as far as power gains, I dont give a **** how loud it is really, would like a nice throatty sound but just looking for the most power for my buck.

I purchased a B&B cat back system but sold it before installing it due to financial trouble that I'm out of now. Maybe it was for the better or is B&B the best?

I'm a little partial to my B&B

If you don't care how loud it is, B&B x-pipe wins hands down.

Dyno #'s on the Corsa will be out next week. Then we will have an objective basis to make a comparison.

Dyno numbers on the Corsa were already released some time ago. Eight HP if I remember correctly. Perhaps that wasn't the final build? The B&B x-pipe is a tick over 15 HP.

Are there any numbers on the B&B with the resonator instead of the xpipe?

nice, thanks.

How much of a difference between the resonator and xpipe at 50-70 mph cruise speeds? That would be my concern when we go out of town on a 12 hr trip and drone myself to death.

I can't really speak for the xpipe version as I have the resonator (3") version with the B&B cones installed. I think it sounds great, looks great, and fits great. At 50-70 cruise I generally don't even notice it, unless I'm pulling a grade or lugging the engine (60 mph in 6th climbing up the pass). I doubt you'll be disappointed with the B&B - but one thing to consider is that, at least in my case, it does not clear the BMR AWK bar

Good luck with your decision(s).

No, this was before the cones. Billy later posted that the cones dyno @ 1-2 hp less.
