Platinum with gray interior is ultra rare. Nice color combo. I have platinum with tan on the '05, the '04 had black/black.

The V is very susceptible to engine heat and putting down bad numbers on the dyno as a result. Most stock Vs are in the 320s to 340ish range.

We were doing many, many pulls testing the FFV air intake kit and the engine was consistently very warm. This same car has done 341 RWHP on the same dyno a few months earlier.

Go to the same Dyno shop, with same # of miles as were on your Z06, ideally with similar weather conditions, and if you have a "clean" run, i.e. no KR, timing retard, etc... you'll be within 15hp of a Z06... that's the true RW power difference between the two cars.

CVP,
Yes we are very fortunate to have gotten this car. Its a good feeling to know you have a rare version of a Limited Production car. Supposedly, this car was at the Detroit Auto Show, it was considered a factory demo, but only had 7 miles, so maybe it is true.

Stealth, thanx for the info, I'm like a sponge and am trying to learn as much as possible about this excellent example of American Iron.

My only regret is that for awhile the mods will need to wait, as we are in the process of beefing up the S-10, only have budget for one hot rod at a time, LOL!!!

CTSV05.

Did you buy from Chesrown. They seem to have a never ending supply of used CTS-V's. Mostly demo's, exec and show cars. If I wasn't a GMS customer I would definitely have bought from them!
