Well I just did the free mod badge removal. I have to say it makes a big difference, removed the Dealers name and the CTS emblem.

Now you need the LS6 badge where the CTS use to be. They're worth it from CarMotorsports.

Thanks, I will check it out...
Just checked it out and they have it in Black and Torrid Red. Anyone know what color the red is in our V emblem? If it is Torrid Red that will be a great match, if not I guess black will do..

I went with red. The next time you see this view the Billy Boat 3" stainless exhaust will be installed with X-Pipe. Also ordered the Lingenfelter CAI.

Awesome, can't wait to see it. Let me know ASAP on how the B&B sounds with the x-pipe.
The V will not be my daily driver but for race nights and for nice long drives on the weekends. I just want a catback that sounds mean but doesn't drown out conversation while driving.
I think the red LS6 emblem would look best, as long as the reds are fairly close.
Good luck with it and I look forward to seeing how everything comes out..

How did you remove the emblems, heat them up?

Did they come off easy?

Yep, heated them up with a blow dryer, then peeled them off. Then use a little Goo-Be-Gone to take off the rest of the sticky crap. Took about 45 min. for the CTS emblem and the Dealers name. Pretty easy mod..

I didn't heat mine. Just used dental floss and some 3M adhesive remover. Be sure to wax the spot afterwards as goo gone and the 3M product will remove the finish.

I did the dealers name then ate dinner and then I went back out and did the CTS emblem. More like 10 minutes a piece, sorry I included my dinner in there.. Real easy and quick either way you do it..

Floss was only for the "CTS" emblem. The dealer's name was another story. It was a sticker with individual letters. The dealer's name was written in cursive, "HOLIDAY", so it was all connected. Not too bad. But they listed the city......."WILLIAMSBURG, VIRGINIA". That drove me nuts.

Don't feel bad, my Dealers name was individual letters to, but mine said
BILL DODGE
WESTBROOK, AUBURN

A Cadillac with a "DODGE" sticker on it... haha We couldn't have that...
