Mobile 1 or Royal Purple
#2
Personal opinion is spend your money on something else. Unless you plan on driving this car for 250,000 miles I doubt you'll see any wear difference on the internals. I've been changing mine with Mobil 1 VERY frequently, honestly probably more than I need to. I know it feels good to give the V the very best with Amsoil or RP but I don't think it's cost effective vs. the Mobil 1.

I agree. Think of it this way. When is the last time you've heard of an oil related engine failure that was attributable to Mobil, Amsoil or any other premium synthetic. I just don't think it happens.

I say make a choice based on the availablity of the product. you can find Mobil 1 pretty much anywhere. Ams or royal purple are harder to find. Genneraly from a small local distributer. You could pm patman about german castrol but i am having a hard time finding that in a 5 county area.
