I have thrown every idea I could come up with INCLUDING the bathroom sink into this deal.

For the "show guys" I can also polish the housing.

The housing is actually 1/2" wider than the factory piece.

Madman, It looks heavy duty. But not the area where the bearings seat! Is there not that much load in this area? Just wondering? Because I am on diff #2.

I can only imagine the amount of work it takes to build something from scratch like this.

Hope everything works out,....and like dude said, please keep the info coming,...as I have friends in need of some muscle.

If you are refering to the stub shaft bearings. They are also billet pieces with 2 bearings per shaft. They bolt on to the housing and are also supported by the carrier with another bearing. 3 bearings should be plenty strong enough.

Madman, Are you refabricating the internals? Or just using a stronger case?
Once this works, who's gonna make stronger axles????

This will be a full Ford 9" rear, complete with halfshafts and all. Nothing factory will be reused.

The custom Bogart 18"x3.5"s and 18"x10"s should be here in about 3 weeks. I think the V is gonna hooks with the 28x10.5 ET drags for sure. It'll be the first V carrying the front tires!!!!

I know you said nothing stock is to be used but I'm kinda slow...

How about that rubber bushing on the top of the rear diff that annoyingly wears out after only 10,000 miles and causes all the clunking...will that also be a thing of the past?

Either way, that looks awesome. Once these are available I will no longer have an excuse not to mod the V the way it deserves.

The wife can't wait.

How much does Bogart charge for custom wheels (looking for 18x9.5 and 18x10 for road racing)?
