The MSRP price of the ProCharger kit that we start with to modify it is $5,500.00. Add in 60lb fuel injectors and a Boost a pump and you're over $6,000.00, and don't forget the ATI Performance Products $450.00 harmonic balancer. We purchase a large front mount intercooler and have many modifications to make to modify the ProCharger kit to the Cadillac. Figure in $450.00 for the complete chassis dyno tune, and you can see where we come up with our price. Bob

that car looks nice. Thats a different FMIC than marks car, right? Could you coat the intercooler black, so it would be less noticeable?

Yes it is a slightly larger intercooler, it is the same intercooler we recommended for MSD to use on their project car V. You could paint it black, a light coat wouldn't lose much efficiency. Bob

AH, I didnt realize you get more goodies with that price, I just thought it was high because I found out the wholesale price of the blower kit....did'nt know it involved that much modification though.

Bob - I am curious why you changed the FMIC to a horizontal core? I like it being centered, but vertical cores are usually more efficient given the same size. They suffer less pressure drop. Also - you can post that latest dyno if you feel like it - not exactly a huge change, thanks for the emailed copy.

BTW - You could anodize the fmic without losing almost any efficency, I thought about that since mine is not centered. Then again I should wait to see my car first! It is a home wating for me, I am still on vacation dying to get home and drive it... Thanks again for all your help! I lucked out getting it brought home for from my neighbor...

obZidian - it is MY car now :-)

Both the inlet and outlet tubes on this intercooler we are using now are at the bottom, making our tube routing a little easier. We also found we could upgrade the intercooler plumbing from 2.5" to 3.0", which should help a little, although the iat's on your car this last dyno session stayed cool.
I'll have to get your latest dyno numbers on the website.
The new horn assembly showed up, I'll have to get it shipped to you. Give me a call when you get a chance. Thanks! Bob
