Ive only seen it done on the base cts...I was under the impression the v's box was just about done....the only thing I can think of it removing the fins inside the box and what not...I cant remember what the inside of it looks like right now...but other than that ??? The only other thing that it could be is the tube that goes to the grill, is that what your talking about? in stock form it points up and slightly hidden behind sheet metal mainly to avoid sucking water in...some guys have cut that and made it straight....but daily driver for me so...cant do it, nor do I see where there would be a noticeable gain.

There's little gains to be had from modifying the stock box. Unless you do a ram air setup, which will require a hole in your car (not visible) and not having the use of your driver side brake cooling duct. Even then I can't vouch for much gain.

I've tried to get Stealth V to let me in on his, but he keeps refusing. I've also got an idea, but I probably won't share it til I get it completed (well, I guess I need to start it first). It doesn't involve the stock box though. Hopefully if will be items that are easily had and only little modifying to the car. It will be some work though. I'll post results when I get them, which probably won't be for a month or two.

Cool

Hey Guys!!!

Actually the StealthV involves putting in a replacement K&N filter changing out the intake tube & elbow. Thats it. You just need to find the parts to make it happen.

Thanks,
Paul

Talking

Hey Guys!!!

Lets face it.........doesn't matter who's intake we put in, basically we don't see any real difference from the whole lot of them so why lay out a few hundred in proving nothing when you can make your own for a few bucks.
