not sure but I drove one and it didn't seem to have the same pull as our V's do....Maybe it was the auto or it weighed so much...but it didn't seem to crzy! Definatly a lot smoother tho- **** in aanother year or so I'm thinking about upgrading-

I can ask a friend. I told me, but I don't recall. However, he ran a 13.40 on
a less than stellar effort off the line. He mentioned that he might be able
to get into the low 13's with it. Pretty impressive actually.
It's got a tune...no other mods.

I agree, really awesome cars. Very stable, very friendly, classy interior, quiet as hell,...lots of capability.
If I had the cash...i'd drive that thing every day.

I driven and raced one in my old V and destroyed it! At the time my V only made 350 at the wheels! But they are selling for 53K in Dallas, NEW! So I WAS interested but im sticking with my Vette for now!!! 398 isn't bad though, i would of guessed way less!!!

I took a **** on a STSV with a intake, and shortshifter and open headers! Some 25 year old dude at the club was talking **** to me! He finally provoked me and we did 3 pulls, two 5 mph pulls and a high way pull! Everytime I jumped multiple cars on him! I asked him if he floored it and and he looked like he was going to cry!! LS style motors all the way for me!!! NORTHSTAR-HA!!!

lol im assuming your saying you heard tahoe couldnt drive either, if your speaking about me,....i can drive, not pro-like, but I would for sure be able to take a poop on a sts-v.

I never said the stsv was faster than one of my cts-v. I just said it made more power stock. Weight difference though really kills. Also, if that guy was running open headers that was probably killing his performance as the computer would just add in a ton more fuel for no reason. Also, the trans does suck. When he floored it, it probably stayed in second gear so it just lagged then you just jumped ahead because you where in the correct gear. If you guys both are in third gear locked and punch it, The STSV SHOULD pull on you. If it dont then something is wrong with the car or the Crap that he did to it apparently was for the worse.
