Default New CTS-V Best ET?

Someone posted in LS2.COM that a CTS-V went 11.50's. Anyone know if that's true?

I think it was a joke to coax me back to the track.

Well, so far an 11.90 is the best, and until stkshkr can get cooler weather, it prolly will stay that way, hes one of a handful with the power AND the rear to do better.

Actually, I happen to have a timeslip from my CTS-V right here...

60 foot..............1.9313
330 foot............5.1426
1/8 mile.............7.7480 @ 97.89 mph
1000 foot...........9.9896
1/4 mile.............11.8131 @ 125.73 mph

Knowing the hp numbers, that is nothing to brag about...at all. As reflected in the mph, I have a ton of room for improvement. When the weather cools down a little, I might head back and try to launch and drive a little harder.

Then congrats! What are you running to achieve this?
You must have some serious steam, cuz stk is running hi 1.6 60' times.

FMS built shortblock, L92 heads ported by Meaux Racing, L76 intake, 90mm ported TB and nitrous.

I Forrest Gumped my ET with a lot of hp, whereas STKSHKR earns his ET with driving skill. He'd be in the 10's with my car.

I run BFG 265/40 18's. I'm launching softly because of the IRS. It's not spinning much.

I see you said ported by Meaux Racing, Is that the guy in Maurice Louisiana?? or in that area. If it is I hear that he's one of the best around just wanted to see how you like it, i was thinking of letting him do mine

The heads were ported by the Meaux Racing to which you are referring. All of the work on my car was done at Futral Motorsports in Walker, Louisiana.

The L92 heads are awesome. I'll post the flow numbers when I get my car back from the new balancer install. The numbers are pretty impressive for stock castings. They flowed better than the AFR 225 heads that he ported on my TA.

I heard that he had some awesome port work for the lsx's. I have a friend with his head work on a ford mod motor and it is pretty damn impressive.

Yeah - Futral cut the cam. I've never weighed the car, but it is full weight plus some bolt on parts. I think they weigh 3850 or so from the factory, so I'm probably close to 3900 pounds.
