Katech's new and improved 2-piece CTS-V shifter, ONLY $289.95 New and improved for 2008, we have redesigned our CTS-V shifter. Shifter noise problems have been 100% eliminated with our new 2-piece design. There is no increase in price over the previous 1 piece shifter. Reduce shifter travel by 30%. are they made to order or are you making them in the masses? I am trying to decide what shifter to get and have not talked with anyone that has a katech. And what shift **** will it accept. I want to either get the GTO or the Z06. Will they work?

Are you sure you do not already have the 2 piece design? As far as I know, Lingenfelter had no stock of 1 piece shifters at this time.

Um, May I be the first to say that the NEW shifter is sweet? Its in My V right now and it kicks ***... Cant wait to see the Katech guys at Autobahn this year!!!
(yeah judging by the allen bolts in the one pictured I have the new one... I just happened to have paid more. LOL

How's the install on these? I have installed the B&M Ripper on both my '93 and '99 Vettes and it was pretty basic. The C5 was really easy because I didn't have to go under the car!

aftermarket shift **** Has anyone put an aftermarket shift **** on their Katech? If so what kind? where did you get it?
I've been looking around for a **** that is compatible with the 5/8-18 listed above. The closest thread I've found is on a couple Hurst universal fit ***** at 5/16-18. The Katech looks like the one I want, but I do not care for the stock ****.

Lindsey Cadillac has a couple different shift ***** avaliable. Its for the UUC but I think it's the same thread patern.

I just installed mine this weekend. I got it from Lingenfelter, and it is awesome. I have no experience with the UUC, but I can't see it being any better. The Katech is as quiet as the stock shifter. I did the install myself in about 2 1/2 hours without dropping the exhaust or the tranny. I did have to have a friend help me tighten the bolts, as this required one person under the car and one in it. It is a really nice looking shifter. Almost hated to cover it up with the boot. lol
