Just watched them test it vs Audi S4 V8 AWD Sedan It couldn't even kept up with V they didn't like the transmission and dinging from key in ignition. They powersliding it around corners smoking tires ect.. And tested it in the Rain on the track what idiots. Think it was the Ls6 5.7L

Here Video i found

I watched that comparo several times, and the guy is just impartial to European cars ( I wonder why). The Caddy dismantled the Audi, and yet he still couldn't come to grips with it.

BTW I noticed on that V there were turn lights under the V on the front quarters....??? My '05 doesn't have those....do the '06+ have them?

And yes, American Top Gear filmed their pilot show a couple weeks ago. Adam Carola and Tanner Frost(?) we the main hosts. Besides being hampered by sponsors lining their pockets for good reviews no one can compete with the chemistry that Jeremy and crew have. And that's 99% the reason BBC TG is so good.

Adam is avutally a car guy. I believe he's into the old Ferrari's and stuff. He's not so bad. Tanner is a drifting champion and hosts SuperCars Exposed or something on Speed. He can drive, doesn't sound like and ***, and interesting enough to keep my attention for 30 mins.

It's Foust I found out.

As they should be. American quality has been crap.

Yeah when I was stationed over in England, I thoroughy enjoyed the TV Programming over there. "The Office", with David Brent was just hilarious, and they have less commercials over there so it made it even sweeter. The only bad thing about it is, they charge you about 220 dollars per colored TV/per year. As for the comparo, it wasn't so bad; but as stated before...just overly biased. Which is the agenda that their sponsors would have imposed on them. They did a crappy job with the new Shelby GT 500 too.

I agree they may be slightly biased against American cars but in no way do they have an agenda. Those guys call it like they see it IMO. I'm afraid is the American version gets a gig it will be nothing but "The GM fast lap, brought to you by GM!"

As far as the GT500 goes....I'm not sure I've read a good review on it anywhere. $45k 4000lb Mustang and does it even have IRS?

2 of my friends have the shelby gt 500's and it's really about hp
per dollar here, and from that standpoint it cant be beat...they both did the same
upgrades,... pully, cai, and catback and are getting aroud 640-650 to the crank...those
numbers arent anything to knock...how could you? idr? look at our issues, thats why no idrs...great for autocrossing...shytty for launching. ( in our case anyway )

I would still rather have an '03-4 Cobra with the IRS than the new GT500. Maybe....I would consider 1 KingSnake but that's a maybe.

I'm not sure on this but... I think the light change may have something to do with passing European specs.

Most of the Cobra Enthusiasts wanted the solid rear; and after hearing/seeing a bunch of snapped half-shafts from the Terminator, it was pretty much a no-brainer. I don't think Ford did it to save money or cut cost of the car. They did it for the holeshot, and to my understanding it outperforms several IRS setups on the slalom and cornering. The Termis have set the bar pretty high and I even was considering getting one before I got the V; but the V is just a better car all around. MPG, interior room, trunk space, exclusitivity, etc.

Saw one(Gt500) at carmax for 45k. It was a silver/gray vert with a black top; and it only had 5k miles. It was a 2008, and looked looked like a monster.
