Thumbs down Battery Dead....My key doesnt turn the key cylinder...Freaking locked out!

I dont get it....battery is dead, ok understandable. But the key doesnt work? It's fit in the cylinder but doesnt turn? I tried two keys.

It's a 2005 3.6 (6 BANGER) CTS

Talk to me boyz...I gotta move this car before it gets a ticket.

Also, I dont wanna slimjim it a it **** up the seals/doors.

I am considering getting underneath it (somehow) and unlocking it....doesnt sound possible but Iam out of Ideas...

oh wait one more...Maybe my Keys were not cut right as not positive they are originals..i was gonna call the dealer and give em my vin for another key...

Talk to me before I start crying

Open the trunk, push the seats forward and crawl thru. That is if you seats fold down. Most cars do. Not sure bout the caddy though.

Holy crap.. Man, I don't know what to tell you. Really the only option that you have is to call a locksmith and get it opened. I know you are worried about using a slim jim on it, but you don't really have a lot of options from what it sounds like

Hmmm, maybe if you could jack the car up and support it with some jack stands, then disconnect the battery cable from the starter and hook-up a jumper cable, from your helper car, to the positive (disconneted) cable of the dead car and the ground to the chassis of the dead car. Push the remote button and----Poof, your In.

Slim Jim seems to be the best solution and the least of your worries right now...

Are you sure its your car? lol wouldnt suprise me, my gf's sister has a 94 accord and at her college used her key to unlock the door, actually started the car with her key, before she realized that it wasnt her car lol. Same exact color and everything and i can now see why older hondas are so easy to steal lol

I think you are going to give yourself more of a headache than you need to. I've used a slim jim on my car a couple of times, and no problems. If you call AAA or a locksmith, then you probably won't have any problems. They do stuff like this on a daily basis. Its up to you though.

Good luck, with figuring it out. What kind of ticket are you looking to get if it's parked in front of your house though?
