I've got a few "Tims Tools" laying around somewhere you could borrow if you need something for the spring situation.

Going to do Intake swap first and make sure it runs good etc, before doing exhuast incase any issues arise, can isolate them.

I'm wondering on the Intake, its a 78MM unit, the coolant tubes...can I use LS1 tubes, I've read both ways. With the intake I am getting the valley bolts and tubes needed, but I've read that LS1 coolant tubes do a better job at coolaing # 7/8 cyl. If at all possible I'd like to keeep my stock tubes. Has anyone done this?

Any words of advice before I jump into the swap?

Good luck bud.

I think that you'll need the LS6 lines and the FAST valley cover bolts. You definitely do on the 90 & 92, and I would guess the 78mm would be identical.

If you're worried about coolant flow, get two LS6 crossovers and run one at the back instead of 2 block-offs.

-FAST intake is on
-Lowering springs are in
-New "Trans-Am" and bird stickers on taillight panel

All thats left to do are Longtubes/Y and Catback. And fit the Fuel Rail Covers.

Sits amazingly. So low, LOVE it, just needs tint now :

Also put on new Taillight filler panel stickers, mine were faded so bad :

Thank guys!

They are sportlines. Wasnt to bad to swap, my buddy Al and dad helped.

Just jacked car up, lowered rearend down to as far as it could. Pryed springs out and just pushed new ones in.

Fronts we removed 4 upper bolts and 2 lower shockmount bolts and upper balljoint/sway bar links. Compressed springs removed hat and removed spring. Compresed new one and reinstalled! Only bitchy part, have to make sure the lower spring perch is in right position to upper mount and lower mount line up. Other then that wasn't bad!

===

To freakin cold today to even want to do anything! We installed the Fuel Rail Coveres and snaped some pics. Tomorrow header install and Ypipe/Catback.
