An UPDATE for 2013 Emission
i got this off a buddy of mine @ MIssissauga shop here the whole process was easy
they need 3 pictures of the car VIN, Rear end and cluster start up the car hook up OBD II computer read from there you allow 1 not ready so as long as no check engine light and they all ready you pass make it easy for us with HPTUNERS now for the guy did swap to 99-02 pcm make sure your pcm is reading your VIN on the door or front by windshield correct then shoulnt be problem

No more Nox testing?
Also is this testing that the sensors are just there or are they testing that the sensors are actually functioning? I am not sure what the 1 not ready is actually measuring.

Thats right no more Nox testing because the EGR valve is not generally used at idle only at cruise and a speed signal is required in most cases for it to be commanded open. The readiness tests are functional tests used by the pcm to help spot problems. They use various sensors to detect problems in the different systems.

Ya, I think it may be the overlap in the cam. My old cam was 210/220 .512/.512, my new cam is 230/240 .512/.512
The old cam was a joke to get it to pass, the new cam I think the extra overlap just does it in, because the numbers weren't even close to the limits on idle lol
