Default Friday July 24th TMSP

Anyone coming out for a little fun Friday night?

High of 26c low of 17c looks to be a great evening for some drag racing.

Man was it busy,I only made 3 passes(7.25pm, 8.10pm and 9.36pm) as I was trying to cool the car down.

DA was about 2000ft not great but not real bad.

Best 60ft (right lane of course) 1.81 last pass

Best Mph 108.63 first pass

Best ET 12.661 second pass

Best slip my second pass at 8:10 pm

60ft 1.85 1/8th 8.101 at 85.81mph 1/4 12.661 at 108.36mph

12.3's at sea level.

I hate to wish summer away but I can't wait for the mineshaft air of Oct/Nov

Thanks

I wasn't real happy when I ran them but then I put things in perspective, there were a **** load of Stangs there,Blown,Cobra's and 5 bro's.

My car was quicker than 95% of them.

There was also a blown 5th Gen running high 12's so my 12.6x by 3 seemed pretty good after sitting back.

There was also a bolt on 2001 SOM SS A4 running 13.3 at 106,Fast 102 intake Headers, no stall.

Then I thought about it on the drive home with the air conditioning and tunes on,he has better heads a lighter car and 1/4 of the miles mine has.

Suddenly I was pretty proud of the old girl.

Yeah at the track I go to, stock 5.0's run around 8.8 in the 1/8. Most bolt on ones run around 8.1-8.2

Buddies stock to the tire manual c7 ran a best of 8.5 @ 89.7. Total newb driver. 2.2 60'

Lots of potential in that car
