Heading out soon going to be a nice day.

Its going to be 70* today so you can't ask for better weather.

That said the barometer is falling and the air will get steadily worse as the day goes on.

But we should have a 15 mph tailwind.

I guess you can't have everything, although Saturdays air would have been fantastic.

No new PB except MPH for this year 110.35 da was 1900

Corrected my 12.414 at 110.35 with a 1.792 60ft works out to......

12.152 @ 112.782 MPH

Barometer was dropping all day I left at about 1pm because the lanes were packed the air was gone and I needed to cut my lawn.

I got me a new pb today, 13.6@105 w a 2.2 60ft. Only ran twice due to the long lines. Plans for the winter are, rebuilding my 10 bolt with 3.73s, mega mouth ssra, ported tb, underdrive pulley and nitto nt05 tires. Gunning for a 12.9 on street tires.

Congrats Dom on the new PB.

Don't waste your money on the 10 bolt, lots of good used 9"rears FS cheap now check the classifieds.

Don't bother changing the pulley if your planning to do H/C down the road.

The tires,TB and ram air system will all get you easy gains.

BTW DA got to about 2100 by 4 pm you should run again on a cooler day in a week or two.

Thanks Tom, I was happy with the run.

Although I would love the security of a 9 inch, I don't plan on adding much more to my car beside maybe an ls6 intake with the other bolt ons mentioned. 10 bolt should hold up, my car is mostly a sunny day cruiser and I slip the clutch on launch when at the strip. It would be fun to learn to rebuild the rear end.

You think you can hit a 12 flat in colder weather

Not sure what your plans were/are but you don't want to have to do things twice it gets expensive so I just wanted to give you good advice.

If I get my retune for the gears it just might crack an 11 with the A/C removed.

Thanks for the advice, I know a bigger rear will pay itself off in the long run. I will spend less now and hope for the best. With rebuilding the 10 bolt, I can afford to do those other minor bolt ons as well. Some guy at work wants to race me with a foxbody, he is finishing up his car still.
He hads a 351w with cobra heads and intake plus a flat tappet .500+ lift cam. He should have the faster car but I dont think he has ever been down the track ever before. If we race street tire vs street tire, I think I can beat him.

11s would be sweet, just think of all the exotics and heads/cam cars you can disappoint. Lol
