Weird... cause I dealt w/ ARE due to good service while Wade was there in the good old days.
Wade left, and Nick fucked me so badly my *** is still sore... worse part is that I'm not the only one.
And in the end, Wade was the one that help me out and got me up and running.
Results speak more than empty BS and empty promises from the criminals (ARE/Autoworx)

Emdek Cufedaw why don't you tell us who you are... probably another ARE employee. I will say only one thing.. just have a a look on the different sites out there... I doubt you will find anyone who's had an issues with FTR. They have produced a lot of quality cars and they have completed them in a timely manner.

*** I've never had any work done at FTR .... just an FYI....

who's so sensitive, now ???
ARE/Autoworx (ie criminals) also owe me lots of $ and parts... and I'm not afraid of saaying who I am.

fwiw, you're the one that started the sensitive part of the thread.
Someone came here to ask for a shop in the TO area... I simply said to say FAR away from criminals (ie ARE/Autoworx) before he would get fucked like many have been throughout the years, even after several changes of management and so many empty BS promises of doing things right, regardless of who's inside the shop.
Common denominator = Nick = criminal rip-off that talks his way into convincing customers that he's gonna do the right thing, while making ppl feel sorry for him and giving him $... one he has the $, he's gone and you never ever hear from him again.
Some things will never change.
ARE has and will continue to blantantly **** their customers while trying to only use ARE name for the engine of the past, but get away from the name when talking to the customers they screw saying ARE is a bankrupted company.

Bottom line, save your hard working $ and go to a casino instead... better odd of getting at least something back.

How do u know that they built "ALL" the 10 second cars in Toronto?? Do u know how many cars there are in the city?

And too answer your second statement about 100% satisfaction rate the answer is none as there was a guy on here that was not happy and Andre you even asked him a question. It was the car they worked on and it lost 30hp and Wade told the guy to go to the dealer.
BTW no company in existence has hit 100% satisfaction rate.

Just a couple of questions for you Andre,

Who built the fastest LSx N/A car in the club which is a M6 to boot?
Who built the fastest LT1 N/A and NOS car in the club??

That would be mine!

You are the one who signed me up into TFbM Pomp, and my car went 10.7 at 129 n/a all summer long.

So the answer to your question is FTR or Wade, thanks for asking...

Andre,

That is a loaded statement. FTR took two 11.0 sec built ARE cars and added a 120 shot to one and went 11.7 and a 200 shot and "raced out" the other and went 10.3.
Don's car is one that I would say was built "ground up" by FTR. Tell it as it should.
That is not to say each of these shops don't have problems.
To the guy looking, keep in mind Wade ran ARE until about a year and a half/two years ago.
There is also Speedway, Rolling Thunderz and Straight Line out there. Let this guy do his own research and then ask questions. Rah-Rah and bash-bash only hinders his search.

BTW everyone here posts under a nickname. I have yet to see anyone in this thread have a full first and last name other then Jim.

If you are refering to me Andre. Dave WAS an employee of ARE and assembled most of my bottom end. Spence and Paul did the machining. Bryan ported my AllPros and assembled them. PeteO installed the motor, clutch and transmission. PeterK did the Dyno Tuning. Nick and Bryan did the specifications of all the components.

So does 4-5 hours assembly, being generous, constitute building my motor? Yes he was a single member of a team. He is no longer there. I would put Bryan up against Dave any day. Dave seems to have done a good job. he also worked at a very well equipped shop with there own dyno.

My NA M6 ARE LS2 412 went 11.037@127.17 3550lbs + my 235lb with an autocross suspension setup, with a 1.48 60ft.

I think FTR has been doing good work too, but so has ARE. I have had alot of work done in the last two years and I have been very happy with ARE.

I think we are all lucky to have two qualified shops in TO. Nuff said.

Matt, for starters my car went 10.23 And you are right, Don's car is the only one that Wade built from the ground up... That's why it was the fastest car in the club period... When it comes to going fast and winning races no one around here can touch Wade... that's a fact!

It's hard to imagine that Don's car went 10.7 at crappy St Thomas in 3000FT DA with too little gear (3.42) and too much tire (28") and a nitrous converter...

One day you to will have a 10 second timeslip
