Default Any issues using a 2005 5.3?

This may be a dumb question, but are there any issues with using a newer
(2005) 5.3 to use for a carb swap? Do these have a 24X or 58X crank trigger? I was just wondering so I know what MSD box to get. Either the 6010 or 6012?

Also, any issues bolting these up to a 700r4? I know the older ones you need a crank spacer or something of that nature, is it the same with the 05's? Just confused on these issues; if anyone could clear up these questions I'd greatly appreciate it.

Should be the 6010 with a crank spacer, the stock flex plate might have the spacer built in i think.

Is there any way to verify what tooth crank trigger it has by any marking on the engine? I read something about seeing what computer it used by a number on or near the map sensor, and this will tell the tale. Is there any truth in this?

The 24x has a black crank sensor and the 58x has a gray sensor. Or you could pull the sensor and look for a symetrical reluctor (58x) or asymetrical (24x).

Well, i know what the 24 looks like, so a 54 would look funny to me with more teeth.
