If you have an LS6 style valley cover you can hook the vacuum line to it then put a cheap $3 fuel filter and a section of hose on the valve cover vent (above the passenger side head). You can see both in the pic below. I have a generic PCV valve in the vent line right after the 180° turn (right under the front of the carb)

The LS6 style vent has internal baffling that is supposed to be better at separating oil than the LS1 vents on the valve covers. I get traces of oil in the PCV lines, so a catch can would be a good idea to keep oil out of the intake and possibly causing detonation.

I am going ot look at my intake when i pull the carb again, but i didnt notice any oil in there before when i installed the 2 inch spacer. My car only seems to blow out a little smoke when i am coming out of the revs in gears after a sound beating of the throttle.

I run NO PCV at all, just filters on the crank vents. No problems.

Where did you get your LS6 valley cover? I haven't researched part number of cost yet.

Im running LSA valve covers with vents on either cover, no problems here. I didnt run anything on my LQ4 setup but had small amounts of oil coming from the factory tubes on the v covers.

You run 11.50's in a Caddy??? That's impressive. That thing has to weigh quite a bit more than my truck...unless it is gutted??
