What exactly comes in the package when buying an MSD 6010?

it's under the passenger kick panel on my camaro, and it's not a "small car"

yes just need to route the wires the shortest way possible to get that far but all stock out of the box stuff

UPDATE: I ordered the MSD 6010 today from Summitracing.com Now all I need is a carb, and one driver side valve cover for 98 LS1 engine and I will be all set to start this dude.

mine came with the cord that plugs into the box and into a serial port on a computer, bought it 2 or 3 years ago as well.

Hmmm, I got mine in July of '08 and it had a data cable... Are you sure yours came from a retailer and not a bootlegger?

I may have an extra cable, I'll poke around and see if I find it again, had one leftover from a few projects ago. Let it go for shipping if I find it, I'll post it back on here

I bought mine from summitracing.com as well. I will let you know next week when it gets here what is in mine.

It's really nothing special, just a 9 pin serial-to-serial cable. You'll still need a serial-to-USB adapter in order to use it with any computer less than 10 years old...

I found a cable at Radio Shack that worked but I don't remember what the name of it is
