What carbs you all running on your LSx?

The carb is critical to a good working combination. I think if you make a recomendation for a brand or brew your own set up you should be required to post ET/MPH/Weight/RWHP, something measurable to compare results. Otherwise it is useless information for the person seeking to make a decision.
same goes for cams/converters...and on and on

I looked into the pro systems carbs, but part of going carb'd was the thought of learning how to tune my own. And I really wanted to keep the choke. In that sense the pro systems carbs weren't perfect for me. I would rather learn how to roll my own and not have to rely on a tuner when I upgrade.
Plus I'm a cheap sombitch. Drilling my own blanks is cheaper then buying a carb with replaceable bleeds and restrictions cause then you need a box with multiple sizes of replaceable items.
The one they quote me was $620. Thats more than a few bucks more expensive.
They do build a nice carb though. Pretty tricked out. Had a lot of features.

Honestly, i dont think any 4 barrel can run as good as the SV1, it has been proven over and over already that the design is simply more efficient. But, they can hang, and 4 barrel with money and tuning can hang, but it cannot replicate the same results i think.
Nope, that was for the SV1, i think it is supposed to be able to operate blow through or NA.

If that is the case then why do all pro stock guys still run 4 barrel style carburetors? Most run a Dave Brasswell carb and we have built a few for testing but I'm not sure which one they ended up using through out the year for actual racing.
