Default Get stock starter/alternator to work without the computer?

Working on a 72 nova LS2 carb swap, Im just curious if I can get the stock alternator and starter to operate properly without the Computer? Or do I need special setups of the both? 1 wire, different starter?

Thanks

Use the same wires you used for you starter before to the new one, nothing changes.

Alternator, if its an f body alternator, you need to put a resistor on a B+ wire to i think the "B" Terminal. Might want to make sure which terminal because im not 100% positive which one.

The wire on the back of the alternator should be the same as your original alternator of the car.

I still get confused reading what to do with the alternators, i just make the stockers work with the LS brackets.

20 ohm resistor on the exciter wire or it will burn the alternator.

I had an alternator from a 2005 corvette and just put ign sw 12v to the lug on the back of it and it charged like a one wire alternator. No problems
