now the bench racing begins! IF i pushed im old street car a little harder off the line(keep in mine , i drive my junk 42 miles to the track) i could maybe nock a half tenth off the 60. seriously i dont push it because im a tite a$$ and wont buy a trailer to tow me to the track. in my mind its not a street car if u dont drive it in the gate, run it and drive it back home.

 

Well, I really don't want to break anything and IF I did I'd like a way home....so I trailer for the "just in case"...Seen buddies have to run around and find help or pay the tow truck....I don't wanna be them

and I may turn it up a notch since I'm looking at a new motor 10's ain't too far.

 

try that with a 60's vintage stick shift car with good tires.........**** breaks too often not to trailer it
when it ran 12's I drove it, but not now........

 

now yer talkin, thats my goal too, but its gonna have to be a 1 time glory pass once the suspension is sorted out, as I am not putting a bar in for a while

 

3 pedals, my hats off to u for stickin 11s. ive never gone faster than 13s in a stick car and thats hard enough. fun as sex ( well not really) but hard to hit those shift point. doug g , if i had a trailer id tow, AND go to the track a lot more. like i was saying before, im a cheap a$$ and im not gonna spend the money on a way to tow to the track. the only time i ever towed to the track was the pinks all out at commerce, ga a couple year ago. 90 miles was just too long a haul for those 4.10 with a 1.1 high gear.yall haven fun yet?
